Always trying to meet us when we don't want to meet them. George: Hey, Honey, remember the Medium who tried to make us materialize while we were both taking showers? Marion: (Laughing)Would have served him right if we had!

    • Henrietta: Cosmo! Cosmo, where are you? (Enters the room) Henrietta: Cosmo, Why didn't you answer me? Cosmo, what's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost. Marion: Told you she was psychic. Cosmo: (To Marion) Shhhhhhhh! Henrietta: What's that? Cosmo: Oh, uh, I was just breathing, dear.

    Notes (3)

    • This is the beginning quote from the narrator for Topper. It is how each show began. Narrator: This is Cosmo Topper. Bank Vice-President, loving husband, and, no he's not a magician. George and Marion Kerby are doing that. Ghosts. Yes, a handsome couple who were swallowed by an avalanche and came back to spread a little joy into a sedate business man's life. And that's their ghost-dog Neil. The St. Bernard who couldn't save them. That's what you get for drinking on the job old boy. Aren't they a wonderful bunch? And just think, Topper is the only person in the whole world who can see or hear them. Except for you and I of course. Well, it's off to the bank for Topper. What a way to start the day!

    • Footage of Neil walking is run in slow motion, to give the impression he's drunk and staggering.

    • This episode is presented as a flashback, with Cosmo Topper telling an unbelieving doctor about his situation with the Kerbys.
