    • Raf: (About the Autobots) What are they? Jack: Talking cars that turn into robots. Or the other way around...

    • Megatron: Decepticons! I have returned.

    • (Bumblebee and Arcee bring in the three humans) Ratchet: I thought there were two. Arcee: Haven't you heard? Humans multiply.

    • Bulkhead: Team Prime knows when to use force, and how much to use! (Smashes a piece of Ratchet's equipment) Ratchet: Bulkhead, I needed that!

    • Optimus Prime: It is best that you three remain under our watch, at least until we can determine our enemies' intentions. Ratchet: Optimus, with all due respect, the human children are in as much danger here as anywhere. Jack: Children? Ratchet: They have no protective shell! If they get underfoot, they will go... squish. Optimus Prime: Then, for the time being, Ratchet, we must watch where we step.

    • Megatron: Optimus! Been well? I see you've brought your trusty watchdog. I was sure he'd be convalescing in a scrap yard by now. Ratchet: (to Optimus) Why don't you invite him down here for a... chat?

    • Starscream: I ask nicely one last time: The Autobot base! Agent Fowler: Sure thing, buddy. Right after you eat my star-spangled shorts. (Starscream jabs him with an energon prod) Aaaaghh! Starscream: As I imagined. Energon and human nervous systems don't mix.

    • Arcee: Ratchet hasn't been in the field since the War. Ratchet: My pistons may be rusty, but my hearing is sharp as ever!

    • Jack: The first rule of robot fight club is that you don't talk about robot fight club. This is a parody of a line from the 1999 film Fight Club.

    • Optimus Prime: We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron... This is the same way the Autobots introduced themselves in the live-action 2007 Transformers film.

    • Megatron: Decepticons! I have returned. This line alludes to the fact that 'Transformers Prime' is the first Transformers series since the original (aside from video games) to feature Frank Welker as the voice of Megatron.

    • Miko refers to space as "the final frontier." This is a reference to the opening of the original Star Trek series.

    • Optimus Prime: One shall stand, one shall fall. This same line was used in the 1987 animated feature The Transformers: The Movie.

    • The Scraplets are based on creatures of the same name which appeared in issues 29 and 30 of Marvel Comics' The Transformers series. However, their appearance and behavior here is more reminiscent of the Mecannibals: round, metal-eating creatures which appeared in later issues of the comic.

    • Bulkhead mentions that he and Wheeljack once belonged to a group called "The Wreckers." The Wreckers were an elite Autobot group introduced in Marvel Comics' UK Transformers comic strips.

    • Episode Title: "Convoy" is also the name of Optimus Prime in Japan.
