  • Episode Description
  • Rated: TV G Gallagher runs into the U.S. Navy flag officer with a chip on his shoulder given to him by Gallagher's two star U.S. Army Air Corp Father. They must work together to save not only their own men, but the war in the South Atlantic. The epilogue provides a wrap up for the series, at least in the short term.

    • The Treaty of Versailles limited the surface Navy of Germany to six battleships (of less than 10,000 tones each), six cruisers, and 12 destroyers. There weren't limits on the U-boats, which turned out to be Germany's greatest Naval advantage.

    • During World War II, U-boats were a major component of the Battle of the Atlantic, which lasted the entire duration of the war in Europe.
