  • show Description
  • Unhitched is a single camera comedy that follows the lives of 4 'divorcees': Kate, Tommy, Freddy and Jack 'Gator' Gately. They are all newcomers to the world of dating and have to wade through its messy waters. Unhitched enjoys the same 'gross out' comedy stylized by shows such as Family Guy. FOX ordered 6 episodes for season 1.

    • Katie: (drunk, from bedroom, sing-songy) Ga-tor... come to bed. You're in lu-uck. This morning, Katie waxed her whis-kers.

    • Herb: (in a wheel chair) Jack... It was all I could do not to give you a 'standing' ovation. Catherine... meet Jack... she's been the brains behind my company for 15 years. Catherine: Awwh, that's baloney. He's the brains, I just do the 'legwork'. Jack: You're the 'wheeler'... She's the dealer. She rocks... you 'roll'. (awkward pause) Herb: (in a serious tone) It's a little early in our relationship to be starting up with the 'gimp' jokes, isn't it?

    • Dr. Freddy Saghal: Look guys, I will be fine, okeh. What... you don't think I can get a date. Johnny Sneed: No. Dr. Freddy Saghal: Trust me, okeh. At work... nurses? Constantly beating me off with a stick. Jack Gailey: (sarcastically supportive) I'll bet.

    • Kate: Oh, are you going downtown? I'm going to walk with you. Freddy: (lamely, turning imaginary steering wheel) Or perhaps you'd like to hop in my 'air' car... Kate Uh huh.. haha. Freddy You know... because you made love to that 'air' fellow'. Kate: Yah, uh huh, I got it. Thanks.

    • Kate: I can't believe I slept with an air-guitarist. Jack: You gave it up for the musical cousin of a mime. Tommy: (Showing Kate phone pictures) Check it out. This is you before you knew... and, this is you after.

    • Jack: Hi. Can I get a beer here, please? (Looks at couple groping each other at the bar) Or a hose... or a mop? Barbara: (commenting on couple) Wow... You know, not all conjoined twins get along this well. Jack: Well, the really sad thing is - she's my date... You know, don't stand so close. I wouldn't want you to get all... 'pregnant'. Barbara: Yah, that might get in the way of my 'drinking'.

    • Tommy: Holy... He looks like he just stepped out of one of those sexy underwear billboards. Jack: Is there something you want to tell us? Kate: Guys, what... what should I do? Do I talk to him, or...? Jack: (interrupting) If you don't, Tommy will. Kate: OK, I'm going in. How do I look? Tommy: No boogers. Kate: (rolling her eyes) I really gotta get some girlfriends.

    • Kate: ... Oh, and this is my friend, Tommy. Wendy: Hi... nice to meet you. Tommy: (very courteously) Nice to meet you too. You have a lovely home. Thanks for having me. Wendy: You're welcome. Tommy: Quick question... the mom over there with the purple top and the 'soup cans'... is she in play? Wendy: (smiling sarcastically at Kate as she walks away) Thanks for bringing him. Tommy: (to Kate) I thought I should ask.

  • No other show on TV is doing this sort of big, bold comedy....I love it. It's not taking itslef too seriously and is just plain funny. Love the cast. Love the Farrelly's. Love to see more!
