    • Dick Casablancas: They're here... "They're here" is one of the greatest movie quotes and was said by Carol-Anne Freeling (played by Heather O'Rourke) in the movie Poltergeist from 1982.

    • Weevil: So, did you flop for the cops or did the local Wapner hook you up with some ankle bling? Weevil refers to the retired Superior Court Judge Joseph A. Wapner, who went on to become the legendary Judge Wapner at The People's Court when it originally aired between 1981 and 1993. Since the show returned to syndicated TV in 1997, there's been several other Judges. Wapner on the other hand moved on to guest roles in movies and TV-shows, and also a while presiding at Judge Wapner's Animal Court on Animal Planet.

    • Veronica: Ruh-roh. Veronica channels 'Scooby-Doo', as her client surprises her by showing up where Veronica surveil. "Ruh-roh" is one of several catchphrases from this speech impediment dog. Many of them with a 'R' sound to begin with, and this particular one translates to "Uh-oh", as in trouble ahead. 'Scooby-Doo' first appeared in the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, but have been seen in several spin-offs since that first appearance back in 1969.

    • Keith: She's not my old lady. She's my special lady friend. Another of the shows many tributes to the 1998 Coen brothers', Ethan and Joel, hit movie The Big Lebowski. Keith takes a slightly more polite spin on The Dude's famous quote; "She's not my special lady, she's my f***ing lady friend. I'm just helping her conceive, man!"

    • Veronica: Dad might be too busy for Miss Brightside, but I think I can pencil in some time to make a couple quick G's. Veronica sees her new client as a female version of the title song character 'Mr. Brightside', portrayed by The Killers on their 2004 debut album Hot Fuss. The song includes a love triangle and jealousy as theme. 'Mr. Brightside' became a hit single for the band, and amongst other accomplishments it was in April 2010 revealed as the most listened to track on's since they launched their online music service in 2003.
