  • show Description
  • Far away in a distant galaxy, the people of the planet Prysmos lived in an age of great technology. They had taken control of all of their sources of energy, and enjoyed a life of comfort and ease for 7,000 years. But this was not to last, for the realignment of the three blazing suns of Prysmos signalled the end of the Age of Science and heralded in a new Age of Magic. As the people of Prysmos adapt to their new world, several factions try to gain an advantage over all others when the wizard Merklynn comes out of hiding and offers to share his magic with any who can survive his tests.moreless

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (81)

    • Darkstorm: You see to have a problem, cliff dweller! Arzon: It is not a problem. It is a cleverly disguised opportunity.

    • Galadria: If it weren't for your vulgar perfume, I mightn't have known you were sneaking behind me! Virulina: I wasn't sneaking; I was trying to avoid seeing your wretched face.

    • Darkstorm: (walking into a dungeon full of shackled sceletons) Well, what a beautiful exhibit - this must be the art gallery! (a skeleton blows out Darkstorm's torch) Darkstorm: Fie.

    • (each shouting over distance and through walls) Darkstorm: Where are you, Mortdredd? Mortdredd: I don't know, Master! Darkstorm: You are useless! Mortdredd: I know, Master!

    • Merklin: The age of science is over, and the age of magic has began.

    • Ectar: Mortdredd, why don't you speak? Is your tongue sore today from licking your master's boots? Stick it out, let me see...

    • Darkstorm: Mortdredd, do something treacherous that I may put those knights behind me.

    • Darkstorm: Perhaps we should relieve those behind us of the burden of following.

    Notes (1)

    • Neil Ross voices the character of Bearer of Knowledge in this episode. In all future episodes, Jim Cummings performs the role.

    Trivia (58)

    • In the Maze scene, Feryl repels a spider with a pincer-like weapon which crackles with energy. Since technology no longer functioned and magic was not yet acquired, this should not have been possible.

    • While Arzon questions the Bearer of Knowledge about the young maiden, his magical totem momentarily vanishes.

    • When Leoric raises his power staff, his glove is missing.

    • When Reekon says 'It appears that any Visionary can pilot a vehicle', Darkstorm's hair and armor is colored like Mortdredd.

    • Both Galadria and Cryotek are from a city called Androsia.

    • Galadria's greatest fear (as revealed by Cravex's Power Staff of Fear) is a tidal wave.

    • The man who spoke out against Darkstorm was nowhere to be seen among the crowd before he spoke.

    • When Cravex shouts "Darkling Lords, attack!", he spoke with Cindarr's voice.
