  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (8)

    • Jack: Would you say that I have a swimmer's body? Will: Unless it's in a trunk in your closet, I'd say no.

    • Malcolm: Did you know the Richmond Hill landfill is the highest elevation on the Eastern Seaboard? Dale: Yeah, you can see it from my living room window. Karen: Well, I think it sounds fantastic. But I don't know if Princess Grace over here will be up for dinner at a landfill. Grace: Actually, it sounds wonderful, I love a good meal and I love a good dump.

    • Karen: Hey, J. Hey, WAG. Grace: WAG? Karen: Will And Grace. WAG. Will: Just glad my name isn't Frank.

    • (after Grace agrees to go on a blind date) Karen: Yeah! This is going to make my boyfriend so happy! Will: Aren't you a little 'mature' to be referring to someone as your boyfriend. Karen: (over her shoulder as she leaves) At least I can swim, jackass.

    • Karen: Malcolm, darling, would you please turn the car around? Malcolm: Why? We’re turning left on Richmond. Karen: We’re turning RIGHT!

    Trivia (3)

    • Robert Kariakin was credited as Waiter, but no waiter appears in this episode.

    • Goof: When making her dramatic exit, Grace leaves her wrap which is folded on the chair near the door.

    • Continuity error: In this episode, Jack says that he has known Will for 17 years, and in the last episode Will claimed to be 41 years old; that would mean he met Jack when he was 24 years old. However in the season 3 episode, "Lows in the Mid-Eighties," he met Jack while he was in college in 1985, which was 20 years ago.

    Allusions (3)

    • Title: The Old Man and the Sea This is a reference to the famous book by Ernest Hemingway of the same name, first published in 1952.
