    • Will: Grace, has your mom set you up recently?
      Grace: No.
Will: Has she mentioned setting you up at all while she's been here?
      Grace: No.
Will: Do you get the feeling that a set up is anywhere on the horizon?
      Grace: No!
Will: Well then, what is your damage, Heather?!
      Grace: My damage?
      Will: Yes!
      Grace: My damage?!
      Will: YES!
Grace: My damage is that she stopped setting me up! (Realizes what she just said) Wow.
Will: Okay. This is between you and your mother. How did you get this nuts? (Opens the door to reveal Bobbie listening on the other side) I guess we'll never know. (Goes down the hall)
Bobbie: I made [Andy] wait in the lobby.
      Will: Thank you!

    • Will: (to Grace) So your mom called? Grace: One message from her and I am completely insane. Will: Really? Can you see the white all the way around your eye? Grace: Come on, Will, he's right here. Jack: Thank you, Lord and Lady Hateful. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to return to a world of polite people with normal-sized heads. Grace: Come on, Jack, he's right here.

    • Karen: What are you looking at, sideburns? Never seen somebody with money and soap?

    • Karen: Look Jack..there goes my world...there goes my everything, Jack: Will you stop worrying? She's just a maid. Karen: Just a maid?? It's like saying Pradas are just shoes or Vodka's just a morning beverage!

    • Bobbie (looking at a couple cd's) What do the boys make out to these days... Is it still Judy?

    Trivia (4)

    • Goof: In the opening sequence when Grace is discussing having played Noah's wife and Will is opening a bottle of red wine, Grace brings a single wine glass over, which Will fills for her. In the next shot we see his own wine glass already half full, to which he adds more red wine, so both have full glasses. In the very next shot, however, Grace is still holding the empty glass, which she hands to Will as he gives her one he has just poured.

    • Peter Paige, the INS agent, went on to play Emmett Honneycut in Queer As Folk.

    • At the beginning of the episode when Will and Jack are at the mirror, at one point Will has his hand raised and makes a motion with it. However, in the next shot, literally, a milisecond later, it's on his side, and there was not enough time to get it there.

    • Near the end of the episode when Andy leaves, Grace enters and starts arguing with Will. If you look on the sofa there is no magazine on the right hand seat. Then Will gets the door, it's Bobbie (Grace's Mom), Will then leaves to see Andy in the lobby. As Bobbie turns to face Grace on the sofa, a green magazine has appeared on the right hand seat of the sofa. Then she goes to sit down and the magazine has disappeared. Then at the end of the heart to heart between Bobbie and Grace, the green magazine has appeared again just behind Bobbie's arm.

    Allusions (9)

    • Karen: Oh Jack, don't let them take my sunshine away. This is a reference and (almost) line from the well-known song "You Are My Sunshine" by Jimmie Davie and Charles Mitchell and first recorded around 1940.

    • Episode Title: Whose Mom Is It Anyway? This is a clear reference to the improvisation show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?. The show itself was also a play on words from the famous British and Broadway play (originally a TV special, but then adapted for the stage) Whose Life Is It Anyway, about an artist who becomes a quadriplegic after a car accident and asks to be allowed to die. Filmed in 1981 with Richard Dreyfuss, it has also gone through many incarnations, with both male and female protagonists. The latest was in London a couple of years ago starring Kim Catrall.

    • Grace: Well, Humphrey Bogart liked Ingrid Bergman, but he gave her up for the good of the resistance. Quick reference to the storyline from Casablanca.

    • Will: Hey! Hey! Frances!!! A funny reference to the actress gone insane, Frances Farmer.

    • Jack: You had me at hola. A funny parody of the line spoken during the final part of Jerry Maguire.
