    • Ember: I don't feel any pain. Irma: Awww, really? Here's some!

    • Uriah: Hey, that was fearless leader Irma Lair, with a face for radio and a voice for despair! She’s so bad, the equipment shorted itself out just to shut her up!

    • Will: Hey, since when are you Miss Intuitive? Cornelia: Perspective. I’m the only one not starring in a soap opera. Hay Lin / Will: This week…

    • Irma: Lunchtime, Sheffield. And here’s a little music to gag to…

    • Hay Lin: Hi, Eric. Eric: Uhhhh. Hey…you! Hay Lin: Hay Lin.

    Notes (8)

    • The kids working for K-Ship group are the same as those working for the school newspaper in Stop the Presses (minus Taranee). The group being Irma, Bess and Kourtney Grumper, Uriah and Martin.

    • From this episode on, because of the new JETIX lineup during prime time, W.I.T.C.H.'s new air time moved from the Monday night premiere to Saturdays at 10:30 am Eastern Time on Toon Disney.

    • This is the first time where, as the girls are transforming, Will appears at the end of scene instead of at the beginning where she usually is.

    • This is the last episode of W.I.T.C.H. to be shown on ABC Family, since the Jetix block has left ABC Family on August 31, 2006.

    • In the comic-books, Shagon, Khor, Tridart and Ember are called the "Knights of Revenge" whereas in the show they are the "Knights of Destruction."

    Trivia (3)

    • Goof: Irma uses the top of a fire-alarm to get at Martin's bedroom window. But when she was ringing at the door, the fire-alarm wasn't standing before Martin's home yet!

    • Nitpick: When Andrew Hornby calls Irma a "vicious attack chick," he says she is at "ten o' clock" when in fact, according to the (aero)nautical direction term, Irma is at two o' clock (meaning forward right or at sixty degrees).

    • Goof: As the girls are walking down the street they are, from right to left, facing front: Irma, Hay Lin, Will, Cornelia and Taranee. Yet just as they're walking into the construction site, facing back, Irma and Taranee have switched sides at oppposite ends of the line. Then in the scene after that, Irma is back at her original spot of the line.

    Allusions (2)

    • Irma: Goooood morning, Sheffield! This is based on the famous "Good morning, Vietnam!" said by Adrian Cronauer, a disc jockey on Armed Forces Radio Saigon. In 1987 the movie Good Morning Vietnam was released with Robin Williams starring as Cronauer.

    • Shagon's golden mask is similar to that worn by the character Anarky from DC Comics.
