  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (6)

    • Jack Malone: I've worked hundreds of these cases and certain patterns tend to develop. Now, I may not like these patterns, but I can't ignore them. You wanna know what those patterns are? Mr. Freedman: Yeah. Jack Malone: When a child goes missing, whoever claims to have saw them last is usually the one that took them. And if that person happens to be one of the parents, the incidence doubles. My gut says you're okay, but I don't know you. I'm trying to get to know you so that I can help you. But I can't help you unless you earn my trust.

    • Samantha Spade: Heard you got a little wet. Martin Fitzgerald: Beats sweating my ass off in the doghouse.

    • Martin Fitzgerald: How long does it take to get out of his doghouse? Danny Taylor: Depends on the dog. Samantha Spade: Don't worry about Danny, he's just marking his teritory.

    • (After Martin tackles the suspect and they both land in the pond.) Jack Malone: Where did you learn that? White collar? Martin Fitzgerald: No, sixth grade swim class.

    • (Commenting about the tip line.) Martin Fitzgerald: Look, I know people are trying to be helpful but... for example, this lady? She keeps calling me... She's convinced that she saw Gabe on T.V. this morning ringing the bell to open the stock exchange.

    Trivia (1)

    • Goof: The geography of the New York subway system is incorrect. First, there is no part of the subway system where consecutive stations are 57th street and 66th street -- the station south of 66th street is 59th street. Second, the station just before Yankee Stadium (from Manhattan) is underground.

    Allusions (2)

    • Danny: This would never have happened at Shea. Shea Stadium is located in Queens, New York, and the homefield for the Mets. It is named for New York attorney William A. Shea, although the original name proposed for the stadium was Flushing Meadows Park.

    • Vivian: It's so sad how bitter Mets fans are. The New York Mets are a professional major league baseball team based out of New York, formed in 1961.
