We see Annie Daye, a Xena fan, seems to be a vigiilante who is actually Xena. We meet her boyfriend, Harry, who seems to be Joxer. And a past-life expert who is Gabrielle. However Ares shows up fresh from ' the Xena scrolls" with a bomb, Y2k, and vengeance in mind. Luckily, Harry turns out to be Xena and royally kicks Ares's leather-clad ass! Xena/Harry also reunites with with Maddie/Gabrielle, while Annie Daye who now knows she's Joxer, realizes she can't try to be something she's not and begins the path to try and find herself. I thought this episode was quite exciting and good for the show.moreless

    Past Lives, Present Problems

    By lenzinoH20, Jul 03, 2007

Deja Vu All Over Again-A present-day woman believes she's the reincarnation of Xena, the warrior princess, while her disbelieving boyfriend thinks she's crazy, and seeks help from a past life expert, with some familiar faces along the way.

The modern day episodes never had a point in the series, this one is no excpetion. Continuing where "the Xena Scrolls" left off. Anna(Lucy) is a modern day woman and a fan of Xena, who believes she was her in her past life. Here boyfriend, Henry(Ted) thinks she's crazy but they see a past life expert named Mattie(Renee) anyway, and the true xena impersonater is revealed. The actors do a great job in their in roles. Thisepisode is Renee O Conner's direction debut, and she does a decent job. It's funny to find out Lucy's character was Joxer and Ted's chaarcter was..Xena! Robert Trebor makes his final appearance on Xena as a secretary of the past expert. But that still doesn't take away from the dragging plot and uninteresting story developements. The appearence of Ares is also pointless and his fight scene with Harry is pretty corny. All in All, mediocre episode at best! Couldn't they have put this episode before Endgame and Ides of March?moreless
