  • Fan Reviews (3)
  • Underdeveloped concepts; such a common mistake in most children and action cartoons these days.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (3)

    • Morph: Looks like I hit a nerve. Wolverine: So, ya made me mad. Happens all the time. You should see me in line at the post office.

    • Shadow-Storm: He locked me in a cold, dead world without light. Without feeling. But in this body, he will not dare attack me. Xavier! I have won!

    • Bartender Morph: Every night at 5, he turns into a bar! Geddit?!

    Notes (1)

    • Professor Xavier's ability to walk while in the Savage Land is never properly explained on the show, though in the comics, his (second) body was crippled due to injuries sustained on the astral plane, meaning he physically was fine, but his mutant-powered mind would "tell" his body he was crippled. Without his powers here, the barriers imposed by that mental injury aren't enforced. In the comics, this was due to the Shadow King, coincidentally enough, but the show's version of events is hinted at in season 4's "Sanctuary (1)" and involve Magneto instead.

    Trivia (9)

    • Cyclops, Gambit and Jubilee do not appear in this episode.

    • This episode features the first appearence of Mjnari, an entirely original character to this series, a mutant with super-speed power (similar to Quicksilver) and is Storm's god-son.

    • This episode features the first appearance of the Shadow King, though not the first time he's plagued the Professor and Storm, as will be related onscreen when he returns next in season 4's "Xavier Remembers".

    • Morph turns into various X-Men characters associated with the same Weapon X program as Wolverine, specifically Deadpool, Omega Red, Maverick, and Sabretooth.

    • Two recurring villains from Wolverine's solo comic series, Bloodscream and Roughhouse, make a cameo appearance exiting the Amazon bar.

Mjnari's red jersey with the number 23 on it, is a reference to basketball legend, Chicago Bulls' #23, Michael Jordan.
