  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (2)

    • Ares (to Hercules with the Cronus Stone): So, you finally got a bit of juice. Let's see if I can't squeeze it out of you.

    • Iolaus: Here and now I've got to say, the simple truth won't go away, the way I feel just can't describe, the magic when I look into your eyes.

    Notes (3)

    • Instead of the Young Hercules theme, Iolaus and Hercules' song is played during the closing credits.

    • Jason, played by Chris Conrad, does not appear in this episode.

    • Kevin Smith got to use his singing talents for this episode, which he had previously demonstrated in the Xena: Warrior episode "The Bitter Suite". Kevin had also played the role of Elvis in a New Zealand tour of Are You Lonesome, Tonight?, and did Elvis impersonations at parties.

    Allusions (3)

    • Hercules: You can say hello to my little friend!
Hercules is paraphrasing the famous line by Al Pacino from the movie Scarface.

    • Ares: There can only be one!
Ares is using the famous line from the Highlander movies and TV series.

    • Strife's make-up for Ares' number is reminiscent of that worn by the hard rock bad Kiss.
