    • Tom: So, this is the third round to get back in.
      Janine: Indeed.
Tom: Hmm. How much do you want this?
Janine: Well, if I lose to rabbit, a scallop, and a pizza? I should just be shot and gone.

    • Andrew: (after Tom tastes his dish) I don't think you can read Tom, and I'm nervous now.

    • Tom: (judging Richie's dish) But at the end of the day, not really so inventive. It looks like there's a lot of crazy stuff going on, but not really.

    • Keith: I'm feeling good because I'm, like, "Okay, I butcher a lot of meat."

    • Chuy: I'm nervous, just because . . . I-I feel like butchery is one of my strong points -- growing up in a family of butchers -- but if I don't do well, it'll be, like, man, like, really f*$#%! up.

    • (Danyele gets razzed for making such a simple sandwich.)
Danyele: I'll eat it, if no one else will.
Tom: I have to. (everyone laughs)
Danyele: You have the pleasure of eating it.
Tom: Of course, yes. That's what I meant to say.
      Danyele: That's what you meant.
Tom: It's my pleasure to eat your sandwich.

    • (Andrew, Keith and Richie observe the chefs' extensive prep.)
      Keith: Leave that sh*$ alone!
      Andrew: Yeah.
Keith: So, right now we've got 10 minutes just prepping aïoli, and we've still seen no meat being seasoned or demoed.

    • Chris J.: Oh, that third box. Who doesn't love white anchovies with lamb? I don't! I don't like that a all.

    • (Danyele drives CJ and herself to the market for sandwich ingredients.)
CJ: (whispers) Let's just go. Let's just keep going. Punch it, Thelma!
CJ uses a line from the final scene of Ridley Scott's 1991 film Thelma & Louise in which Thelma tells Louise to drive off the edge of the Grand Canyon rather than face the police behind them:
Thelma: OK, then listen; let's not get caught.
      Louise: What're you talkin' about?
      Thelma: Let's keep goin'!
