Mackenzie Hannigan began his acting career shortly after attending an acting convention in July 2002. The sprightly youngster won several competition awards and had no trouble landing agency and management representation.
Hannigan quickly found fame as Bobby Saunders - the "youngest chef in the world" character and official spokeskid for the "Smart & Final" discount store chain. Hannigan shot more than 20 commercials and numerous radio spots and print ads before celebrating his first year anniversary as a professional actor.
Hannigan's credits include a voice over for an upcoming Warner Brothers' animated film "Happy Feet," commercials for "Hometown Buffet" and an episode of "Scrubs."
In early 2004, Hannigan booked the first pilot for which he ever auditioned - Fox TV's "One Big Happy" later retitled "The Deerings."
He enjoys soccer, whiffle ball, cooking and live animals; he has ridden on a pony, elephant and camel. His younger brother Zachary is becoming an established actor himself, recently booking a commercial for Sears/Kenmore washers and dryers.
