Madigan starred Richard Widmark as Daniel Madigan, a hard-boiled New York police detective. The show ran as part of the NBC Wednesday Mystery Movie, airing opposite Banacek and Cool Million. Widmark reprised the role from the critically acclaimed 1968 movie of the same name. Madigan lasted for only six episodes before being cancelled in February of 1973.
