Episode Number: 117    Season Num: 6    First Aired: Sunday February 13, 2005    Prod Code: 06-04-609
When Lois catches the boys vandalizing a trashy billboard for a strip club, Malcolm alters the vandalism into a women's rights protest, which sparks a colossal media circus. In no time, feminists, conservative religious groups and national new reporters descend on the scene. After Hal grants a TV interview, a woman from his past turns up at the faux protest; and Reese, inspired by the giant billboard stripper who comes to life in his dreams, gives an impassioned speech about the objectification of women.

Notes

add »
Cold Open: Hal discovers paper in Jamie's pen and there is writing on it. He and Lois contemplate what a genius they have here, even though the letters aren't quite clear, but then Reese comes up and takes the paper saying, "There's my homework!" (edit)
Francis (Christopher Kennedy Masterson) does not appear in this episode. (edit)
The war between Lois and the boys in this episode seems to resemble the ending of season one episode "Smunday" (edit)

Reese: Check out that pig!
Dewey: You don't have to talk about them like that. They've been really nice to us.
Malcolm: Yeah, they really believe in this stuff.
Reese: That is such a load. Every woman down there is just here because they're jealous.
Malcolm: Of what?
Reese: Of the fact that they're not hot enough to be strippers. They act like they're all offended, but really they're just mad about their own giant butts. Believe me, in their heart of hearts, every woman wants to be her. (Points to the billboard girl)
Malcolm: What about Mom?
Reese: We're not talking about moms. We're talking about women.
Malcolm: So all women want to be strippers? There are no women in the world who want to be doctors or lawyers, or anything like that?
Reese: Cut the act, Malcolm. They can't hear you. Just because they look like dogs doesn't mean they hear like dogs.
Dewey: I'm sleeping on the other side. (He and Malcolm move away from him)
Reese: Come on, I was just being honest! (Scoffs) So whipped! (edit)
Malcolm: We've come up here to make a difference in the world.
Reese: Yeah!
Malcolm: To speak for women like this one, who can't speak for themselves!
Reese: Yeah! Because they are billboards!
Malcolm: (whispering) Shut up! (edit)
Stripper: I'm the only woman in the world for you, Reese.
Reese: You are?
Stripper: Of course! I'm 60 feet tall, my skin is 5 inches thick. No matter how creepy and insensitive and thoughtless you are, you can't hurt me.
Reese: That's all I ever wanted. Why aren't all women like you?
Stripper: Well, I'm not real, sugar.
Reese:: Oh yeah.
Stripper: You just dreamed me up as a super sexy way to face the fact that you're gonna live the rest of your life alone.
Reese: But that's not for sure… is it? (edit)
Reese: So… would you take off your giant top?
Stripper: Do you have a giant dollar? (edit)
Reese: (after she kisses him) Wow!
Stripper: Damn tootin' wow. (edit)

Trivia

add »
If the boys had not been quite as preoccupied with the billboard at the very start, Malcolm could've easily realized Lois would return to that area to pick up the towels she missed earlier, and they could've picked another night to do it, and thus be successful without getting caught. (edit)
Right at the end when you see Dewey being brought to the ambulance you can see the lights on of the ambulance on, they are also on in the next couple of shots, but when they are closing the doors of the ambulance they are off again and go on a second later. (edit)

My first MitM-episode ever! Thank you for losing my job and entering this freakin' world of the Wilkerson-family. The serie remind of the good old early '90's, where everything was just plain and no overated stuff.
