  • Towards the end of the episode where McGill is being chased by the East German Police, he is driving a Moskvitch. When he jumps clear of it, and it bursts into flames, what is burning is the shell of a Ford Prefect. []
  • Philip Madoc (Kommandant) has always been an actor worth watching. He made a second appearance playing Dr Forsyth in the episode "Who's Mad Now?" []
  • Jacqueline Pearce (Ruth) trained at RADA and later at the Actors Studio in Los Angeles. She had a minor role (Miss Brown) in the episode "Sweet Sue". Her sharp and rather unconventional features made her acceptable playing stronger and more forceful female characters in later acting roles. In 1975 she appeared in London's West End with the superb Alan Bates and the much missed Sir Nigel Hawthorne (Note from Ed! See my tvtome page on lovely Nige!) in the Simon Gray comedy "Otherwise Engaged". []
  • Wendy Hall (Receptionist at Hotel) made two appearances in the series. The more dominant of them playing Lucinda Masters in the episode "Essay in Evil". []
