  • When McGill is in pursuit of Fulton he has to kick through a door in order to open it. We see the bottom left hand side panel knocked out. Next scene it is the top left hand side panel beside the door handle that's gone. []
  • "Which Way Did He Go, McGill?" was coupled with the episode "The Sitting Pigeon" and released on pre-recorded video by ITC in 1992 (Catalogue # 1572). []
  • Jennifer Jayne (Joy) recalls that she had a 'glorious' set-to with star Richard Bradford (McGill) while working on this episode! 'I managed to get in a few good blows!' She comments. Jennifer also used the name 'Joy Fairbank' for joint writing ventures with her husband - their projects included films such as 'Tales that witness Madness' and 'Son of Dracula'. []
  • The brilliant Donald Sutherland (Earle) made two appearances in the series playing different characters. Catch him in "Day of Execution", in the role of Willard, one of McGill's old College chums. []
