Twenty years ago, David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz commenced working on The Movie Show, on the SBS, which provided weekly reviews of new-release movies, as well as interviews with cast and crew members. David and Margaret quickly became Australia's definitive movie critics, and many of their comments can be seen on the Australian versions of movie posters. 2004 saw David and Margaret's departure from SBS, but they remained together and joined the ABC in 2005 on the show At The Movies, which followed the same format as The Movie Show. Tonight (25th of October) saw David and Margaret celebrating their 20th anniversary on the show, by showing some highlights over the years, and even ending with Margaret thanking David with two kisses on the cheek (pretty much the only affection between them seen on the show). As editor for both of these brilliant movie critics, it would not be right if I did not extend my own congratulations to David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz. Happy 20th Anniversary, and may you still be together for another 20 years. Congratulations!!
