In 1997, Marisa was nominated for a SAG Award for "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role" for Unhook The Stars. In 2002, she was nominated for "Outstanding Performance by the Cast of a Theatrical Motion Picture" for In The Bedroom. (edit) Marisa is the voice of Mary Magdalene in "The Word of Promise," a dramatized audio book of the New Testament released by Thomas Nelson in October of 2007. (edit) When she was younger, Marisa took tap dancing lessons. (edit) Marisa often travels to Italy and she has dual citizenship in both Italy and USA. (edit) In 1982, Marisa graduated from Edward R.
