Mark has a baritone singing voice. (edit) In 2001, Mark performed on stage in Elegies For Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, a musical theatre production about people who lived with and died from AIDS. It was written by Bill Russell and directed by Omar F Okai. (edit) In 2000, Mark appeared on stage in Bombing People, a play written by Roy Smiles and directed by Tim Stark. The play was a Time Out Critics' choice. (edit) In 2002, Mark starred in the short movie Prick, directed by Anthony Fabian. (edit) Mark trained at "The Poor School" of acting in London. (edit)

Mark: Ryan is just a soldier, but he’s a very good one; he’s ex-special forces and has been identified by some rather shadowy characters in the Government as someone who can get the job done in some pretty crazy situations. He’s someone who does what he’s told, when he’s told and doesn’t ask questions. (edit) Mark: I always wanted to be an actor and I always wanted to be a soldier. I loved all those wonderful old films like A Bridge Too Far and so on and all those actors were in the Army for National Service or the War. (edit)
