Mary Kay: Teaching really keeps me sharp. You have to be very clear on your own technique in order to get the point across to a student. In fact, sometimes I feel I'm learning more than they are.

Mary Kay: I can count on my fingers the number of women who have been able to continue major careers. People like Meryl Streep and Sally Field are the exception. But once you get to a certain age on camera you just are gone.

Mary Kay: I'm just like a parrot. I tape a line, I listen to it, and I try to match what they're doing with emotion, pitch and accents. Then I work on that until I feel that I really have it down and then I go on to the next line. It's just a matter of breaking every thing down.

Mary Kay: (talking about South Park characters) I'm all the women on South Park. Which is a lot of fun. Talk about a savvy show. It's pretty out there, but that's a lot of fun to do.

Mary Kay: (talking about South Park characters) Shelly Marsh, Stan's older sister is indeed a villain and always fun to play those! She's self-centered and really nasty; always punching and terrorizing her younger brother. Plus, there's the fun of making the weird slurping noises as she's got braces on her teeth!
