  • Actually the above is not quite true. In an earlier scene we see Charles counting real American currency (not military scrip). When he went out with Mr. Kim, he traded the locals real money for their military scrip at 10 cents on the dollar. There was nothing Charles had to give back to them, so when Hawkeye prevented him from exchanging his ill-gotten booty it only screwed Charles. The locals still got taken for 90% of their cash but it was Charles who did it. edit »
  • Although it isn't mentioned, since Hawkeye tricked Charles out of the scrip he cheated from the Korean locals and didn't return it to them, in effect he cheated them in the end. edit »
  • Radar does not appear in this episode. edit »
  • Sergeant Maxwell, MP: If there's ever anything I can do for you, let me know.
Hawkeye: How about arresting this war for disturbing the peace? edit »
  • Colonel Potter: (seeing Klinger in a dress uniform) Klinger! You're out of uniform! edit »
