Hawkeye operates on a 5-year old Korean boy, and Radar can't find his family. Henry plans to send him to the orphanage, and the camp enjoys his company while they can. Trapper decides to adopt him after consulting his wife, and has to rescue him after he wanders into the minefield. Kim's mother turns up at the orphanage looking for him.

Margaret: You happy, Frank?
Frank: Happy? I'm with you, 10,000 miles from home in war-torn Korea I'm the happiest man in the world.
Margaret: So am I. (edit) (Hawkeye reads Trapper's letter to his wife)
Hawkeye: It's beautiful.
Trapper: Okay, it's beautiful, but is it a mistake?
Hawkeye: How can you make a mistake giving a kid his life? (edit) (Kim is in the minefield and Trapper starts to run in)
Hawkeye: Hold it!
Trapper: I gotta get the kid out of there!
Hawkeye: Do you want to make him an orphan again?! (edit) (Hawkeye looks for maps of the minefield)
Hawkeye: Why aren't they under M?
Radar: Because they're under B. For "Boom." (edit) (Trapper makes a balloon out of a rubber glove)
Hawkeye: Looks like a pregnant bagpipe!
Trapper: Do bagpipes get pregnant?
Hawkeye: Sure they do, right after they make those funny noises!

Goof: As the helicopter takes Kim and Trapper to safety, the area around them is in early morning fog; no sunlight no shadows, however, shots of the other people watching are clear and their shadows are very clear to see.

Goof: Kim is sitting on a good size rock in the mine field, however when Trapper pulls the kid out by helicopter, the rock is gone.
