Mine would have to be (Of the ones I can remember)

When Hawkeye was talking to henry about Frank Burns

    Hawkeye: Henry this jerk!

Henry: That's major to you Hawkeye.

    Hawkeye: Fine, this MAJOR Jerk!

Or when Henry was talking to Hawkeye about him being a loon at the press conference looking for an Incubator.

Henry: Hawkeye, did you really say "Give me an incubator or give me death?"

Hawkeye: You had to be there.

It's a tie between Frank saying "When are you gonna learn about Chinese treachery? Didn't Pearl Harbor teach you anything?" and when Henry said "I've got command giving me a hard time and a mess tent full of Greeks waiting for their Easter dinner that's on it's way to Iowa to become Radar's little brother!"

I don't think Hawkeye said "you had to be there" but now I can't remember what he did say. But the next time you watch 'The Incubator' if you listen carefully as he and Trapper are being taken away from the conference you can hear Hawkeye shout 'give me an incubator or give me death!' At least, I thought I heard it the last time I saw it. I could've imagined it.

    One of my favorites.

After the latrine blows up with Father Mulcahy and Col. Blake inside.

Mulcahy (dazed) : Sis and I picked these apples from under the tree. I remember, I said "You can't make pie from crabapples!" And she said, "I learned how to in Girl Scouts."

Hawkeye : He'll be alright. He's just a little dazed.

Mulcahy : She used brown sugar, and the crust was just crispy and nice. Well, it was so good, we ate it all before dinner.

Hawkeye : Get him back to his tent, let him rest.

Mulcahy : Mommy came into the kitchen and said, "What the hell is going on in here?"

Mulcahy turning to Klinger in a dress thinking he was his mother.

Mulcahy : I remember mommy. You know, that was the first time I ever heard you swear!

I know the theme song is Suicide is Painless, when did someone say the quote?

Also - when (and in what context) did Margaret say her quote?

I forget what happens in the episode, but in the end she and hawkeye are playing scrabble at the end looking for "love" and those are the letters she gets.

The episode was "Stars and Stripes," Season 8. It was the last time Margaret saw Jack Scully.

Trapper, Or Hawkeye, they both said it.

Come on in, take off your skin, and rattle around in your bones...repeat

    Or col. Potter with

"i like to go swimming with bow legged women, and swim between their knees, swim between their knees"

I like the one I posted to the memorable quotes section of this episode:

Father Mulcahy: Let me tell you something, however compulsory it may be. There's no film, I'm live.

oh, there are so many to choose from...Season 6, Ep 24 "Major Topper" - When Klinger gets fed up with "Boots" Miller on guard duty after "Boots" shoots down the imaginery enemy gliders. After telling him to go back to his tent, and realizing that "Boots" really is nuts, Klinger utters what I think is one of the funniest lines in the entire series:

"The only thing I don't understand is why they didn't make him an officer."
