The continuing story of Queen Elizabeth I of England. Elizabeth is under constant pressure to marry and secure the future of the crown by providing an heir, but she fears the loss of power that might come from having a husband and refuses to be forced into a political marriage.

Meanwhile, the Queen becomes a strong ruler, and in the Age of Elizabeth her England even begins to become a player on the world stage.
