Lost actors ordered to keep clothes on

No more skinny-dipping on Hawaiian beaches for stars of hit ABC show.

Lost producers said season three would be the sexiest season yet, but they didn't mean this.

A shirtless Sawyer is OK.

A shirtless Sawyer is OK.

Matthew Fox, Dominic Monaghan, and Josh Holloway, who play Jack, Charlie, and Sawyer, respectively, on the ABC show, have been ordered by show runners to stop doffing their clothes and swimming nude in the warm Pacific waters.

The actors have all spoken of their love for skinny-dipping. Fox appeared on Oprah and said, "I do [swim] nude--and I coax other people to go nude as well. I have a reputation of being a skinny-dipper. I own it!"

Show producers are worried that paparazzi may sneak a snap of the naughty actors frolicking and splashing naked in the waves. Contact Music cites a show source as saying, "Producers are worried they are taking unnecessary risks in terms of their image."

Lost returns October 4 to ABC. Show executive Carlton Cuse said over the summer that this season would be "sexier" than previous seasons.

Honestly I see where this can hurt the show and their careers a little if they're not careful. Lost has had enough bad publicity from some of the actors (i.e. Ana Lucia and Libby's drunk driving, and select cast members speeding). I personally think there is nothing wrong with skinny dipping but I know there are people out there that do think there is something wrong with it. But since it's out already that they do it I don't think them getting caught will really make a difference. At least it shouldn't but hey this is America an we have to be in everyone else's business don't we.

Touche. LOL.

Now if they could just put Naveen Andrews into that mix, I'd be on the next plane to Hawaii.

Funny news to read! I'm surprised that they let him do that on the set!

Why can't it be Kate or Claire?
Posted 10/04/2006 8:57pm
I want to see Josh and Dominic naked. Together. OMG, that would be sooo hot... I think I know at least 5 people (girls) who would start to watch Lost if they see Josh naked. So, down with towels!

hahaahaaaahahahahhaahaaaahahahaaahahahahahhaaa! thank goodness Lost is coming back soon~ otherwise we would have to keep on dealing with more of these useless news to get us "noticing" about the show returning! We get it! Oct. 4th! ABC! we'll all be there, or at least TiVo-ing!

It sounded to me like the producers were trying to protect the actors' images. Seasoned professionals in the business saying "don't go out there naked, it'll hurt your career". So they weren't being selfish or anything, but trying to cover the asses (forgive me) of the stars.

hahaha wow that's so funny

Posted 09/19/2006 11:20pm
this sounds..soo..fake.
Posted 09/19/2006 9:25pm
This sounds like a leaked publicity stunt story.
Posted 09/19/2006 8:58pm
I don't really see a problem with this, if they like to swin naked is they're problem.
Posted 09/19/2006 8:24pm
I don't see what the problem is anyway. I mean if parents don't want their kids to watch it, they'll either block it or turn it off. Personally, I think it would be hypocritical of them to do it because of the simple fact is that they would watch something like that themselves. So why is it that they think that it's going to harm their child. They're going to find out someway to watch it no matter what. What's the point in censoring it anyway. Can you believe that they are actually trying to censor Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry. Cartoons that have been on for over 50+ years. What is up with these censor ship people. Get a life.

They worry they would LOSE viewers over nude shots of the "Lost" hunks? Personally, I think they would GAIN viewers.
Posted 09/19/2006 7:31pm
Personally, I think it is pretty funny. Certainly they know that the photographers are lurking everywhere. So, they wanted to be seen! A way to generate publicity for themselves and the show. I did not see any photos, but really did not look very hard If actually they were not widely disseminated -- that's the funny part. A friend's: http://www.LostExposed.com - forum, news, blog feed

Well, it's all fun in the sun and who cares about skinny-dippin BUT the Paparazzi does! Big bucks for them.
Posted 09/19/2006 5:55pm
Sarah10106 was the only one who actually got the point here...
Posted 09/19/2006 5:30pm
I wouldn't mind joining in on that...
Posted 09/19/2006 4:04pm
I can understand where there coming for, I mean some young persons (who watchs the show) parents find out about it, a picture has been taking and its being shown all over the news, and if one were taken it would be sense this is such a big show, they lose viewers and they lose money, the reason I care is I want the show to keep airing so they cant lose money and not be able to show any more, I say right on!
Posted 09/19/2006 4:01pm
How is there swimming naked important, next they will probably accuse them of Streaking or something.
Posted 09/19/2006 4:01pm
If the paparazzi snap fotos and publish them who really cares. Only thing is that it'll never go away because there'll be constant flashbacks and reviews that seem like forever but only happens over one or two days.
Posted 09/19/2006 3:55pm
What's 'Lost'?
Posted 09/19/2006 3:31pm
If they aren't breaking any law, I don't see how it's any of the execs business what the actors do on the personal time. Is skinny dipping in Hawaii against the law?
Posted 09/19/2006 3:02pm
Who cares if they swim naked? It's not like they're gonna show it on tv.
Posted 09/19/2006 1:07pm
I don't care either.
Posted 09/19/2006 1:05pm
who cares let them swim naked
Posted 09/19/2006 1:03pm
don't really care. i wanna have a bet though on who gets arrested next.
Posted 09/19/2006 12:38pm
please this is all a publicity stunt -they hope the actors will not listen and papparazzi will catch them.
Posted 09/19/2006 12:31pm
You would think they have other more important things to worry about.
Posted 09/19/2006 12:14pm
Oh brother, who cares.
Posted 09/19/2006 11:08am
I wish Kate and Claire would go skinny-dipping.
Posted 09/19/2006 10:55am
It's a wonder no one got any photos of this before. Hasn't exactly been a secret.
