Megan Marie Ward was born on September 24, 1969 in Los Angeles, California, and raised primarily in Honolulu, Hawaii. Megan is the youngest of four children, whose parents were stage actors who performed small parts in "Magnum P.I." and "Hawaii Five-O." The family moved from Los Angeles to Hawaii when Megan was four years old, and her mother and father founded The Talent Development Center in Hawaii, which involved teaching drama and modeling.

Megan attended Kaiser High School, Oahu, where amongst other things she studied Japanese. At the age of twelve, Megan landed her first professional acting role as the part of Pease Blossom in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at her parents Talent Development Center.

After spending several of her teenage years modeling for American and Japanese magazines, as well as co-hosting a Japanese TV series, she moved to Los Angeles, where she reverently pursued her acting dream. She enrolled in college for one year and began studying at Los Angeles' Loft Studio to hone her acting skills.

Her first acting job was a part in a commercial which never aired because the product never came out. However, because of this job she got the SAG card, which she needed. Her first film role was in the Sci-Fi feature film "Crash And Burn."

Megan's next two feature films were the Sci-Fi adventures "Trancers II" and "Trancers III" playing Alice Stillwell opposite Tim Thomerson.

Megan's other feature film credits include "Freaked" co-starring Keanu Reeves and Randy Quaid, "Joe's Apartment" a story which featured dancing cockroaches!, "Arcade" and "California Man" also known as "Encino Man" opposite Sean Astin.

"Encino Man" was Megan's big break because it was the first studio film in which she was the female lead. However, she had a lot of storyline cut out because Pauly Shore and the caveman tested higher with preview audiences.

Megan was also in the first independently produced film made in Hawaii called "Moon Over Paradise."

Megan's more recent credits include the lead role in the TV movies "Crimes Of Passion: Voice From the Grave" and "Don't Look Down."

Her last movie was "Tick Tock" a thriller co-starring Kristin Minter.

Megan's television credits included a regular part in the "Class Of 96", a series which followed the lives of six freshman college students and received rave reviews despite being canceled by FOX TV after a short run. She also starred in Aaron Spelling's NBC series "Winnetka Road" and in the first season of "Party Of Five" playing the part of Jill, a fun-loving coffee shop waitress. She appeared in nine episodes: Grownups, Not Fade Away, It's Not Easy Being Green, Aftershocks, In Loco Parentis, Who Cares, The Trouble With Charlie, All-Nighters, and The Ides Of March. Her character died from a cocaine overdose in the last episode of season one.

Her most profile role was the lead in the NBC 1997 Sci-Fi TV series "Dark Skies" playing the part of Kimberly Sayers opposite Eric Close and J.T. Walsh. She has also appeared in "Melrose Place" playing the part of Connie Rexroth, and in "Four Corners" playing Kate Wyatt.

Megan is currently married to Michael Shore a Toy Company Executive.
