Michael Cera is so awkwardly funny you just want to cradle him in your arms. He's young, he's witty, and he's strangely good looking. What else do you need? I've never seen him in a bad role. I was a tad disappointed with Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist though. But after religiously watching Arrested Development for weeks, standards are indeed set high. Michael Cera definitely has a lot of potential to take over the world. His timid demeanor prevents him from being a superstar, but I think it is that same quality that has all his devoted fans addicted to him and his work. :)

I had to do a review after seeing several 5 star ratings for this guy. Come on, be serious. I don't see him winning an Academy award any time soon. I can live with it if I am wrong. I admit only seeing Cera in Superbad, but he couldn't play being drunk! Yes he is a young man and could grow into future rolls, but there are several youngsters that do superior work. He is a believeable actor. He just isn't a stellar one.

When I saw Arrested Development which is perhaps the funniest sitcom ever, Michael Cera was one of the many cast members who personally stood out to me. He played the gawky, awkward, cousin loving George Michael and he was just great. He has such a natural comedic timing I was amazed at his acting ability. He was just genius and watching Superbad, he plays Evan to a perfect tee as a scared awkward teenager. He is very funny, very natural to his comedy and just has priceless reactions. Though Arrested Development maybe over, Michael Cera's career is really taken off and hopefully we'll see his face all over movies.

Oh, c'mon, this kid is great. Watch any of the outtakes from the first two seasons of Arrested Development. No fifteen year old should be able to improv like that. Watch as he desperately takes a sip of his orange drink after making off color, pseudo-incestual comments to cousin Maeby, or awkwardly crawl through an explanation of how all hugs must come to an end sometime, obviously. The fact that he can hold his own amongst master improvisers like David Cross and Will Arnett (as well as the rest of the lot, the most talented, seemless ensemble cast EVER) is fine and dandy, but to stand out amongst such talent is priceless. Nothing but gold in his future. America, START PAYING ATTENTION.
