Lance: (to Mick) Welcome to the family.
(edit)
Mick: (voiceover) I've wanted to feel human for a long time, but I forgot how painful it can be.
(edit)
Mick: (voiceover; about Coraline) Stabbing a vamp with a wooden stake is the equivalent to putting a human in shackles. I can see the fear in her eyes; it is not the fear of the stake. But the fear of where Lance is taking her.
(edit)
Lance: (to Coraline, about her turning Mick) You made your choices, sister. You chose to bring this ungrateful mortal into our bloodline without his consent; and without our blessing. And now you've chosen to betray us with this compound. There will be consequences.
(edit)
Coraline: (discussing her testing the cure on other vamps) Just rogues; it helps with the research and they need to be put down anyways. So, I'm killing two bats with one stone, really.
(edit)
Goof: Mick and Coraline were married in 1952, yet the marriage certificate for Mick and Coraline shows a ZIP code of 90065 for Mick's address. The line on the form is titled ZIP CODE, yet ZIP codes didn't start until 1963. It should say Postal Zone, and just be 2 digits, 65.

What we know:
• As vampires age their scent becomes more potent with decay.
• There are some vamps even Josef won't mess with.
• Coraline is a vamp again.
• The Reign of Terror was really a vamp genocide and the guillotine was the weapon of choice since only decapitation and burning could kill vamps.
• There is something called "the compound" which masks the traits of vampirism temporarily. (edit) When Mick comes to visit Logan, he's playing the single "School's Out" by Alice Cooper on the game Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. (edit)

The French Revolution:
From the history of the French Revolution we know that King Louis XV had exactly SEVEN children. But none of those children ever took the throne, one child even moved to Spain. The throne passed instead to his grandson, Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. We can assume the writers have taken liberty with French history and those seven royal children were all turned into Vampires. (edit) Louis XVI:
It is alluded that Louis XVI and some of his court were vampires and that the French Revolution and its use of the guillotine was actually the cover for a mass vampire genocide. Louis XVI was the last absolute French monarch who reigned from 1784 until his execution by guillotine in 1793. His wife, Marie Antoinette was executed ten months later. The French Revolution lasted from 1789 to 1799. The Reign of Terror lasted for nine months from September, 1793 to July, 1794. In the last six weeks of the Terror, nearly 1400 people were guillotined in Paris, alone. (edit)
