Moose was the youngest of a litter of 4, yet was also the biggest, hence his name. Hyper and destructive as a pup, he eventually found his way to Birds & Animals Unlimited, where he got his job playing Eddie on Frasier. Each or his four sons have filled in for their dad on the NBC series.
While filming Frasier, Moose appeared as Eddie the dog in 2 of NBC's The More You Know public service announcements. His topics were parental involvement and stay in school.

In 2000, Moose starred with his son Enzo in the movie My Dog Skip.

In 1995, he "wrote" an autobiography, "My Life As A Dog." The book shares its name with a 1985 movie directed by Lars von Trier.
