10 is the blockbuster 1979 romantic comedy written and directed by Blake Edwards. George Webber (Dudley Moore) has a great life by any standards. The famous songwriter has money, a great house, celebrity friends, and a beautiful girlfriend. He should be a happy, satisfied man, but a surprise party to mark his 42nd birthday reveals his impending mid-life crisis. But when George sees a young woman, Jenny Miles (Bo Derek), on her way to her wedding, he is instantly smitten and reinvigorated by her youth and beauty. George's mid-life crisis leads him to call off his relationship with his long time girlfriend, Samantha (Julie Andrews). The newly single George can't get Jenny out of his mind and impulsively decides to follow her to Mexico, where she is honeymooning with her new husband, David (Sam J. Jones). Meanwhile, a series of mix-ups and miscommunications keeps widening the rift with Samantha, who still is in love with him. His thoughts are only for Jenny, who he considers the perfect woman. He can't believe his luck when fate throws them together in Mexico, and he finds himself being seduced by the sexy young newlywed. Can George find the kind of love and satisfaction he had with Samantha with Jenny, his perfect 10?
