1001 Rabbit Tales is an animated comedy film directed by Friz Freleng, Chuck Jones, and Robert McKimson compiled from a number of Warner Bros. shorts and sequences hosted by Bugs Bunny. It seems that Bugs Bunny and his competition Daffy Duck are at it again as they take on the job of selling books for a publish company. When they separate, Bugs ends up tunneling to the Arabian Desert only to be captured and taken to the palace of Sultan Yosemite Sam. Threatened to be boiled in oil if he does not read to the Sultan's son, Prince Abadaba, Bugs finds himself caught in telling stories to a spoiled brat. Daffy on the other hand has found himself in a cave full of gold and a very angry genie who tries to scare him senseless. While Bugs tries to save his own neck, he tells the classic tales of Looney Tunes favorites including Bewitched Bunny, inspired by Hansel and Gretel; Red Riding Hoodwinked, inspired by Little Red Riding Hood; and One Froggy Evening, which highlights a very uncooperative singing frog.moreless
