101 Ways (The Things a Girl Will Do to Keep Her Volvo) is a comedy about a riveting young woman named Watson (Wendy Hoopes). She is struggling with the frustration and emotional angst that is typical of a young adult. Having recently finished her educational endeavors, she strives to find a happy medium between relationships and work. She has a unique relationship with her vehicle, a Volvo that her parents helped her acquire. She adores the car, but soon finds that it may be slightly out of her budget as she finds it immensely difficult to afford the monthly payments, and narrowly avoids having it repossessed. In a ferocious conflict to make ends meet, she is faced with a myriad of decisions in her life. A writer, she eventually looks to other avenues for monetary gain, including the operation of a phone sex hotline. All the while, she is trying to pursue a number of romantic escapades, including relationships with a pilot, Dirk (Gabriel Macht), and grocery store clerk, Jack (Glenn Fitzgerald).moreless
