102 Dalmatians is a 2000 family comedy directed by Kevin Lima. In this film, the evil Cruella De Vil (Glenn Close) is being released from prison. She was incarcerated for her cruelty to animals, especially a family of Dalmatians. The once evil villain has turned into a dog lover because she has spent three years in Dr. Pavlov's (David Horovitch) behavior modification clinic. The clinic's goal is to turn predators and prey into best friends. Ms. De Vil is believed to be cured of her lust for puppies and the pretty coats their fur makes. Cruella's behavior is tested when she meets her parole officer, Chloe Simon (Alice Evans). Chloe has a family of Dalmatians and Cruella begins to spend a lot of time with she and the dogs. Her interactions with the dog family leave onlookers to believe she is truly cured. Has Cruella De Vil been cured of her need to wear puppy fur, or is it all an act?moreless
