Movie Summary

127 Hours, from Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire), writer Simon Beaufoy and producer Christian Colson, tells the harrowing story of real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston (James Franco), who literally cut himself loose from danger -- and lived to tell about it. When sliding rock pinned his right forearm under a boulder during a climb in the Utah mountains, Ralston resorted to his basest survival instincts to stay alive.
