2011 NBA Champions: Dallas Mavericks is a video documentary that takes an in depth look at the 2010-2011 NBA championship winning season of the Dallas Mavericks. After losing in the first round of the playoffs in three of the previous four seasons, very few people were expecting anything from the Mavericks going into the 2010-2011 season. Motivated by the doubters, and filled with a deep hunger to win alongside plenty of quiet self confidence, the Mavericks shocked the world with an unforgettable season of basketball. Led by multiple all-star and NBA MVP Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas finished the regular season with 57 victories and emerged as top contenders in the western conference. After beating the talented, up-and-coming Portland Trailblazers in the first round of the playoffs, the Mavericks swept the previous year's NBA Champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, in the second round. In the Western Conference Finals Dallas won an incredibly exciting series against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the Finals, the Mavericks dominated LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and the heavily favored Miami Heat. 2011 NBA Champions: Dallas Mavericks is filled with action-packed game highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with all of the Mav's top players.moreless
