2012: Ice Age is an action thriller, directed by Travis Fort, that features a family who fights to stick together in the midst of an apocalyptic crisis. The film begins with ominous images of volcanic eruptions in Greenland that have sent a 1,000 mile-wide glacier towards North America. Unaware of this, scientist Bill Hart (Patrick Labyorteaux) and his family are excited as they drop daughter Julia (Katie Wilson) off at the airport to go back to college in New York. Minutes later, things quickly change as Hart learns a giant iceberg is heading for their home state of Maine and they have just hours to save themselves. After managing to escape after the iceberg wipes out New England, the scientist then learns it is heading for the East Coast next. With family in tow and battling ferocious snowstorms along the way, Hart pulls out all the stops to save his daughter in New York before time runs out.
