30 Days Until I’m Famous is a romantic comedy by Director Gabriela Tagliavini, about a hard-working Latino woman, Maggie Moreno (Camille Guaty). Maggie is too busy with her work as a messenger in Los Angeles to idle away the time with dreams, at least until she catches the eye of desperate music producer Cole (Sean Patrick Flanery). Cole thinks that Maggie, with her beauty, vivacity, and talent, could become his next pop star sensation. For her to become a star, however, he thinks that she must become more “ethnic and so he trains her to become more of a “real Latina, in order to fill the market’s demand for Latin pop music. But with her agent and the production company tweaking every aspect of her being to fit a particular mold, manufactured to sell, will she lose herself? And are the riches and the fame worth sacrificing the very essence of herself?
