3:10 to Yuma (1957) is an action-western film directed by Delmer Daves. The film stars Glenn Ford as Ben Wade, Van Heflin as Dan Evans, Felicia Farr as Emmy and Leora Dana as Alice Evans. In this classic film, Dan Evans is a struggling rancher whom is in desperate need of money to cope with the debilitating effects of the drought on his crops. With no help from the bank, his friends, nor from the sale of his animals, Dale has no other options but to accept the bounty for capturing Ben Wade and putting him on the next train, 3:10 to Yuma for his execution. Famous for robbing stage coaches and killing anyone who gets in his way, Ben Wade is a vicious killer and bank robber. Dan Evans realizes that this job is more dangerous than originality thought when upon capturing Ben, he must now deal with Wade's gang of killers. Dan Evans knows the consequences of going home empty handed, so he has decided that even though the town officials who contracted him abandoned him, he has come too far to look back. With a race against time to get Ben Wade on the 3:10 train to Yuma, Dan has no other choice but to succeed because his family and their livelihoods are in desperate need of this bounty.moreless
