Four for Texas is a classic Rat Pack film starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Zack Thomas (Sinatra) and Joe Jarrett (Martin) are rival businessmen intent on opening a waterfront casino in Galveston, Texas. Travelling by stagecoach to Texas, the two former sharpshooters are called into action to defend the train from marauding outlaws who are intent on stealing the $100,000 bounty Thomas has stashed on the train, which is promptly stolen by Jarrett. This American Western comedy film follows Thomas and Jarrett as they ultimately agree to partner in a casino venture. Their grand plans are put on hold with the arrival of the villainous outlaw band led by a mysterious man named Matson (Charles Bronson). With hijinks and trickery galore, the money changes hands many times before Thomas and Jarrett realize they must learn to trust each other if they wish to defeat Matson once and for all. This 1963 film is directed by Robert Aldrich and features fabulous performances from co-stars Anita Ekberg and Ursula Andress.moreless
