976-Evil 2 is a 1996 horror movie directed by Jim Wynorski. It is the sequel to the popular 1989 thriller 976-Evil. When college dean Mr. Grubeck (Ren'' Assa) murders a pretty young college student named Laurie (Karen Mayo-Chandler), his entire community in California is shocked. Mr. Grubeck is placed under arrest, but he uses the prison phone to dial 976-Evil, a number that connects him to the dark forces of Hell. After pledging his loyalty to the dark side, Mr. Grubeck is granted the ability to astrally project himself while he is sleeping. He uses his new power to continue to stalk new victims even while he is behind bars. When he begins to follow a beautiful police officer's daughter named Robin (Debbie James), Spike (Patrick O'Bryan), a lone survivor of the previous horrors of 976-Evil, comes to her aid. The pair team up to defeat the evil forces and to stop Mr. Grubeck before time runs out.
