A Bucket Of Blood is a 1959 comedy/horror movie directed by Roger Corman. Walter Paisley (Dick Miller) is a socially inept, clumsy busboy at a caf'' called The Yellow Door. Since he is hopelessly in love with beautiful hostess Carla (Barboura Morris), he tries to create a sculpture of her face one night. While he is working in his apartment, he hears his landlady's cat moving around inside of his wall. Walter attempts to rescue the cat by cutting it out of the wall with a large knife, but his attempt goes awry when he accidentally stabs and kills the cat with the knife. He then covers the animal with clay and presents it to Carla as a statue to impress her. When Carla sees the statue, she is amazed at Walter's artistic talent and has a newfound interest in him. Her reaction inspires Walter to go on a murdering spree so that he can turn humans into clay statues and win Carla's heart.moreless
