A Few Days In September is a 2006 action thriller that takes place in the ten days leading up to the September 11th attack in America. Elliot (Nick Nolte), a CIA agent who has information on the impending attacks, wants to meet his estranged daughter Orlando (Sara Forestier). Elliot travels across Paris, Venice, and Europe in search of Orlando along with his adoptive son David (Tom Riley) and fellow intelligence agent Irene (Juliette Binoche). While they race the clock to find Orlando, a psychotic assassin, William Pound (John Turturro), tracks Elliot. The film mixes different genres by focusing on the personal relationships between Eliott, his friends, and his adoptive son and daughter while still including many edge-of-your-seat action scenes. Whether Elliot will reunite with Orlando, or whether he will be able to survive his adventure across Europe, this film manages to pack intimacy, drama, and high suspense into one very entertaining film.moreless
