A Miami Tail is a comedy from Breakaway Films and Maverick Entertainment Groups that is a contemporary reboot of the ancient Greek comedy ÔLysistrata' by Aristophanes and was written by Colin Costello and directed by Melvin James. The film won a Golden Trailer Award in 2004. Alicia (Trina) is young, dedicated and determined woman who wants to do something good in her community. She is fed up with the gang violence, crime and disrespect of women in her community of Liberty City. In an effort to change things for the better, he concocts a genius plan to achieve her goal. Alicia convinces her girlfriends to withhold sex from their gangster boyfriends until they stop their violence and start respecting the women of Miami. However, things do not go according to plan and Alicia's plan turns into a battle of the sexes with an outcome that just might change the great city of Miami forever.
