A Perfect Getaway (Unrated Director's Cut) is the unchopped, definitive version of writer-director David Twohy's (Pitch Black, The Arrival, Below) tense psychological thriller which casts a dark cloud on a couple's dream honeymoon. Newlyweds Cliff (Steve Zahn, Breakdown, Bandidas) and Cyndey Anderson (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil, The Fifth Element) are Hawaiian island hopping for their honeymoon and celebrating screenwriter Cliff's securing of a major writing assignment, when their idyllic island excursion is threatened with news of a killer couple on the looser murdering vacationers. Their radar goes up when they refuse a ride to a couple that fits such a description and even higher when another couple begins to tag along on their sightseeing. Nick (Timothy Olyphant, Scream 2, Justified, Deadwood)and Gina (Kiele Sanchez) are daredevils extraordinaire who act increasingly more suspicious as time goes on, displaying an acute flair for aggressive acts.
