A Shot in the Dark is a 1933 English mystery film directed by George Pearson. The film is set in the classic old dark house. In the house the relatives of its murdered millionaire have gathered to search for his will which has been recorded on a record. The relatives all fit into the typical stereotypes of the time such as the smarmy guy, the young hero and heroine, the snooty dowager, and so on). However one of the relatives is guilty of the murder of the millionaire and will stop at nothing to gain the inheritance. Can the murder mystery be solved by the local vicar who happens to be an amateur detective? Watch and find out.
