Movie Summary

Director:
Arlene Sanford
Released:
1996
Rating:
PG-13
A Very Brady Sequel is just what the title suggests, a sequel to The Brady Bunch movie. Both movies are based off of the television series with the same title from the 1970's. However, the films do not require that its viewers be familiar with the series - it can be enjoyed by everyone. The Brady's are somewhat of an anachronism living as they did during 1970's even though the year is now 1996. Much of the humor in the film centers around awkward clashes in culture and time. The film centers around the Brady's when they are visited by a con man named Trevor Thomas (Tim Matheson) who claims to be Carol's long lost first husband. He convinces Carol and the others that he is Trevor by conjuring an elaborate story about himself. The Brady's are easily persuaded and allow him into their residence. But as mentioned before, Trevor is there with an ulterior motive - he wants to steal a statue off their property worth $20 million. The film also stars Shelley Long and Gary Cole.moreless
