Aaah! Zombies!! is a film among films in the modern trend of Zombie Apocalypse movies, but where others have fallen into clich''s, Aaah! Zombies!! brings something refreshing to the mix: the perspective of the wandering undead themselves. Instead of human protagonists, the story line follows Mike (Matthew Davis), Vanessa (Julianna Robinson), Tim (Michael Grant Terry), and Cindy (Betsy Beutler), four friends who turn into undead zombies after eating toxic waste infested ice cream at their local bowling alley. Instead of being four lone survivors in a sea of undead, they are four undead in a sea of fearful aggressive humans. Through their unique perspective, it is as though the rest of the world has gone mad, as they are completely unaware of their rotting state. Thinking they are the only sane people left on Earth, Mike, Vanessa, Tim, and Cindy give the audience a unique perspective of zombie life, and raise philosophical questions of how inhumane we should really treat zombies.
